Yazmin went above and beyond her duties when my Crew was a little early to the gate and a passenger from Delta came up to me. The customer was doing his best to communicate that he had questions about his flight, but he didn’t speak English. I came to one of our Customer Service desks to ask if she knew how to get in touch with a Delta customer service agent to help him. Fortunately, Yazmin speaks Spanish and was able to explain to him that his flight had unfortunately already departed. She also took it upon herself to call the ticketing desk at Delta to find out if there were people there who could assist him. When that wasn’t proving effective, she made another call to help the passenger get in touch with someone with Delta to get his flight sorted out. Yazmin went above and beyond showing our Southwest Hospitality while smiling bright and keeping things light. She was so ready to be helpful to a passenger who wasn’t even flying Southwest! She’s an asset and we’re lucky to have her.
