I would like to send a sincere thank you to the Crew of #3939 from PIT to PHX. We were on our way back to PHX after my father-in-law’s military funeral service. We carried his military flag from the service onboard the plane. We boarded and sat in the last row. To our surprise, Flight Attendant Jolyne noticed our flag and asked us about it. She then went on to say, “would you like the flag to ride up in the cockpit?” With tears in our eyes, we said “yes!” She then proceeded to ask my husband his favorite memories of his dad. What an awesome experience as we are flying home and grieving. Jolyne was so respectful—what an honor for her to do that. We want to send our sincere thank you to the Crew and tell them this was such a touching and honorable moment for my husband and me.
