A Moment to Remember
A family boarded our flight with four little boys. Captain Sorme was standing at the front door with me. These little boys had logbooks; many carriers over the years gave out these little booklets to children so they could record their travels. Their mom asked Captain Sorme if he would sign their books. He took the booklets to the cockpit and recorded our flight details for them. He then walked back to where the family was seated to return them and to chat with them. At the end of the flight, he came out of the cockpit during deplaning and gave them a set of epaulets to share when they play “Pilot.” He was just such a total gentleman and so kind. When our Pilots interact with our Customers like this, it is a moment they will never forget. Kudos to Captain Sorme for being visible and so engaged in Passenger boarding and deplaning!
